Pair of console panels in polychrome plaster on a black background (Carpi, c. 1720 - 1730). In the border of one of them, birds on branches and medallions decorated with birds alternate, and in the center there is a circular medallion with a rooster, surrounded by a violin and a sheet of music. The other panel presents a border with birds of paradise and medallions with landscapes with grid characters and in the center a parrot on a branch, playing cards, and flowers. This pair of panels, due to their quality and elegance of colors and composition, indicate the hand of an exceptional master close to the work of Giovanni Leoni (Carpi 1639 - Modena, early 18th century) and above all in the coincidence of application of French playing cards in the composition.
