  The work we present, similar to another made 14 years later, crystallizes a view of the Tajo River surrounded by trees and bushes in the middle of spring. The composition follows a general scheme characterized by compositional rigor: taking advantage of the shore, Rusiñol looks for a vanishing point to give depth to the canvas. The wild vision, which constitutes one of its greatest attractions, thus finds a harmonious and almost symmetrical order. Its bright colors and different shades of green animate the scene with vibrant light.
