The appointment with TEFAF Maastricht, the most important fair in the world of fine arts, antiques, and design, is approaching. It will open from March 9 to 19 at the MECC. In this edition, Artur Ramon Art (stand 251) will present a variety of masterpieces that, like every year, want to fully express our essence as antique dealers. Sculpture will be the real protagonist, from Roman works of the 1st-2nd centuries, including a splendid Venus, through a relief by the great Catalan Gothic sculptor Jaume Cascalls, to avant-garde bronzes by Pablo Gargallo or Julio González. The real star of the stand will be found among the paintings, an extraordinary oil on canvas by Joaquín Sorolla, exhibited until now at the Sorolla Museum in Madrid. We will also highlight an Ecce homo by Pablo Scheppers and another by Mateo Cerezo, as well as a painting by Antoni Tàpies. Finally, a large embroidery with scenes from the Infancy of Moses from the Neapolitan school will claim the textil art.
