TEFAF Maastricht, the world’s leading fair for fine arts, antiques, and design, is approaching and will open its doors from 9 to 19 March at the MECC. For this edition, Artur Ramon Art’s stand 251 will present a selection of masterpieces that, as every year, fully express our identity as art dealers and antiquarians. Sculpture will be the true protagonist, ranging from a relief by the great Catalan Gothic sculptor Jaume Cascalls, and avant-garde bronzes by Pablo Gargallo and Julio González. The true highlight of the stand, however, will be found among the paintings: an extraordinary oil on canvas by Joaquín Sorolla, until now exhibited at the Sorolla Museum in Madrid. We will also present an Ecce Homo by Pablo Scheppers and another by Mateo Cerezo, as well as a work by Antoni Tàpies. Finally, a large embroidery depicting scenes from the Childhood of Moses, from the Neapolitan school, will celebrate the importance of textile art.
