- This large charger, produced in Manises at the end of the 15th century, belongs to the so-called goldsmith (orfebre) style, characterized by modelling that mimics metalwork. The obverse features a broad rim with a profile of raised gadroons and a central boss or mambla containing a heraldic shield with a winged dragon. The entire surface is decorated with golden lustre, combining floral motifs of dots, striated leaves, and areas of smooth gilding intended to create a play of volume, texture, and light. The reverse of the piece is equally elaborate, a feature reserved for the most ambitious productions of the Valencian workshops. The centre is occupied by a wheel of curved spokes, while the wall and the area beneath the rim are ornamented with fern leaves arranged in two distinct registers.
