  Renowned above all as a sculptor, the artist always showed a great interest in the human female figure, which has led him to an in-depth study of the traditional pictorial registers with the objective of attaining his own type of representation of women. His female figures do not remit to a classic past, neither Renaissance or Baroque. His torsos could instead evoke mannerist works, as much as for the form as for the complex iconography they refer to. Is an example this bronze sculpture is from his new figuration phase.
