- Sculpture of Crucified Christ in walnut wood, retaining traces of pigments indicating that it was originally polychromed. Jesus Christ is depicted at the moment of expiration, with his eyes almost completely closed and his mouth slightly open. There are no signs that he wore a crown of thorns, although it's possible that it was in a different material (perhaps rope with thorns made of bone or iron) and just laid over his head. It does retain a small mark of the wound on the side, inflicted by one of the soldiers at Calvary immediately after his death, as recounted in the Gospels.
